SMART announces new director of budget and reporting
David Mueller assumes new leadership role for SMART’s budget and reporting department
CALGARY, ALBERTA --- August 14, 2006 --- SMART Technologies Inc. announces the appointment of David Mueller to the position of director, budget and reporting. A SMART employee since February 2005, Mueller started as manager, financial analysis. His new role will encompass overseeing and coordinating the company’s budgeting process and its management and business performance reporting.
Mueller holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Calgary and a master’s of business administration in finance from McMaster University. Prior to starting at SMART, Mueller worked for Agilent Technologies, the world’s premier measurement company, in a variety of roles in business finance, including finance manager and division controller.
